By default, the NFB-11 is configured as a variable volume (adjustable volume). The apparatus is nevertheless designed to pass mode fixed volume. To do this, simply change the position of selection jumper. The user can thus variable output between a helmet and DAC (DAC + preamp) and a fixed output.
Warning do not position the NFB-11 in a fixed position when you connect it to a power amplifier with no volume control.
The headphone output is still affected by the volume control.
Particularly useful for use with headphones to the sound very clear, two other jumper used to make the sound warmer. If both are turned on, the NFB-11 will sound less bright and less aggressive in blast treble.
Specific filters DSD / PCM are accessible in the same way. Simply connect jumpers in the correct sequence to activate the filter you like.
